The Kombu Nudibranch seaweed sculpture was presented by Julia Lohmann and Messums East Art Hub at First Light Festival, Lowestoft, UK, from 22–24 June 2024. The exhibition was accompanied by a seaweed making workshop and opened up conversations about ocean literacy and the regeneration of marine habitats.

Kombu Nudibranch was originally commissioned for the 2022 exhibition 'Tideline' at Messums West and created in collaboration with Alberte Holmø Bojesen, supported by the Messums Wiltshire team.
